Job Description

The Internal Communications team at PitchBook is instrumental in building and preserving our unique company culture by making sure our teams have the information they need to be successful in their jobs. We lead the planning, implementation and constant improvement of employee communications focused on topics such as business performance, strategic initiatives and operational updates. The Internal Communications team is responsible for producing engaging internal campaigns, creating effective employee communication strategies and planning and implementing key meetings and events.

PitchBook’s Sr. Internal Communications Manager is responsible for supporting communications for the People (Human Resources) team. This role brings a strategic perspective to writing across employee and candidate communication channels and constantly evangelizes the many ways PitchBook supports its people while ensuring our employees have the information they need to be successful. This role will report to the Internal Communications team and will be 100% dedicated to supporting People team leadership and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with People team leaders to develop communications that support and drive the adoption of various people programs and processes across the employee journey

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to align on communication goals, channel strategy and messaging

  • Support the ongoing refinement of our employee value proposition and ensure all People team communications keep the employee value proposition at the center of our communications

  • Support the message development of a purposeful employee experience, including a marketing/campaign approach to recruitment marketing and internal branding of core people programs and initiatives

  • Partner with recruitment marketing and employee engagement to amplify our employment brand through internal and external channels

  • Serve as the liaison and spokesperson for the People team, providing collaborative guidance and advice on integrated communication strategies to build employee morale, productivity, retention and policy compliance

  • Communicate initiatives and programs to employees in a variety of print, digital and interpersonal ways; including contributing to company newsletters, calendars, blogs, intranet posts and social media updates that support our employee value proposition

  • In partnership with Human Resource Business Partners, review employee feedback, concerns and suggestions and assist in developing strategies to address needs

  • Continuously evolve our People team intranet site to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information and a positive employee experience

  • Provide messaging and presentation support to People team leaders

  • Partner with the Vice President of People to manage team meetings and team communication initiatives

  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and coaching desired behaviors and creating programs and processes that support desired outcomes

  • Participate in various initiatives and projects as requested
