The Social Media and Communications function at David Yurman, a cornerstone of our integrated marketing strategy, orchestrates a harmonious blend of owned and earned media to craft a brand narrative that resonates on a global scale with a focus on North America. This vital function involves developing a strategic social platform and content strategy, guiding the development and curation of content that speaks to the heart of our audience, fostering organic engagement through earned media, while also meticulously managing our owned channels to ensure a cohesive and authentic brand experience. Through strategic storytelling and innovative campaigns, this function serves as the brand's voice, shaping perceptions, building community, and driving the conversation in a digital-first world where immediacy and impact are paramount.

Responsibilities

Social Media and Communications Strategy

Lead Owned and Eared media strategy for David Yurman with the objective to recruit new audiences, heighten engagement and drive earned media for the brand.

Develop comprehensive action plans and content pipeline for brand communication and social media presence.

Social Media

Managing all global social platforms with a focus on Instagram and TikTok.

Coordinate content creation, planning, scheduling, and community management.

Seamlessly integrate the global communications efforts with social media tactics.

PR / Communications

Define and implement press and earned media strategies to enhance brand visibility.

Lead team in managing communications and public relations for all brand initiatives.

Develop relationships with editors, e-influencers, agents, and key stakeholders in luxury, fashion, and trade.

Seamlessly integrate the global communications strategy with Global Consumer Marketing efforts.

Brand Activations and Events

Conceptualize and execute global brand activations and event in partnership with the experience and events team and agencies.

Identify partnership and talent opportunities, managing all aspects from negotiation to communication.

Channel Specific Social Media Strategy and Execution

Craft strategies for each social media channel, showcasing the brand's values and stories.

Project Leadership to Execution

Lead projects from concept to execution, aligning with brand goals.

Market Expertise

Apply knowledge of the luxury market to inform strategy development.

Performance Measurement

Measure campaign effectiveness using key metrics and data analysis.

Budget Management

Manage the budget for social media and communication initiatives.

Agencies Management

Strategic coordination and oversight of external creative partners in order to amplify messaging and effectively engage audiences across platforms for optimal outcomes.

Team Leadership

Lead teams, nurturing individual talent, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and excellence in execution.
